Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics on our website. This is a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.

Through the certification according to the EU-US Privacy Shield (“EU-US Privacy Shield”)

https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active

Google guarantees that the data protection requirements of the EU are also complied with when processing data in the USA.

The Google Analytics service is used to analyze the usage behavior of our website. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our website.

Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, location, time or frequency of visits to our website, is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymization function. Through this function, Google already shortens the IP address within the EU or EEA.

The data collected in this way is in turn used by Google to provide us with an evaluation of the visit to our website and the usage activities there. This data may also be used to provide other services related to the use of our website and the use of the Internet.

Google states that it will not associate your IP address with any other data. In addition, Google provides data protection information at

https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners

Google also provides further information on data protection law, for example on the options for preventing the use of data.

Google also offers so-called deactivation options at

https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

offers a so-called deactivation add-on together with further information on this. This add-on can be installed with standard Internet browsers and offers you further control over the data that Google collects when you visit our website. The add-on tells the JavaScript (ga.js) of Google Analytics that information about the visit to our website should not be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analytics services. If and which other web analytics services are used by us, you will of course also find out in this privacy policy.

Alternatively, the future analysis of your site visit by Google Analytics can be disabled by “clicking” on the following link. By “clicking” on the link, a so-called “opt-out cookie” will be set, this has the effect that the analysis of your site visit on our site will be prevented in the future:

Please note that if you delete the cookies in your browser settings, this may result in the opt-out cookie also being deleted and you may have to reactivate it.

Google Fonts

We use Google Fonts on our website to display external fonts. This is a service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.

Through the certification according to the EU-US Privacy Shield (“EU-US Privacy Shield”).

https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active

Google guarantees that the data protection requirements of the EU are also complied with when processing data in the USA.

To enable the display of certain fonts on our website, a connection to the Google server in the USA is established when our website is called up.

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the optimization and economic operation of our website.

Through the connection to Google established when our internet presence is called up, Google can determine from which website your request has been sent and to which IP address the display of the font is to be transmitted.

Google offers at

https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active

Google, and thus also its subsidiary YouTube, guarantees that the data protection requirements of the EU are also complied with when processing data in the USA.

We use YouTube in connection with the “Enhanced Privacy Mode” function in order to be able to show you videos. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of our website. According to YouTube, the “enhanced data protection mode” function means that the data described in more detail below is only transmitted to the YouTube server when you actually start a video.

Without this “Enhanced Privacy Mode”, a connection to the YouTube server in the USA is established as soon as you call up one of our Internet pages on which a YouTube video is embedded.

This connection is necessary to be able to display the respective video on our website via your Internet browser. In the course of this, YouTube will at least record and process your IP address, the date and time as well as the website you visited. In addition, a connection to Google’s advertising network “DoubleClick” is established.

If you are logged in to YouTube at the same time, YouTube will assign the connection information to your YouTube account. If you wish to prevent this, you must either log out of YouTube before visiting our website or make the appropriate settings in your YouTube user account.

For the purpose of functionality as well as for the analysis of user behavior, YouTube permanently stores cookies on your end device via your Internet browser. If you do not agree with this processing, you have the option to prevent the storage of cookies by a setting in your Internet browser. Online meetings

I would like to inform you below about the processing of personal data in connection with the use of “Zoom”. “Zoom” is a service of Zoom Video Communications, Inc. which is based in the USA. On July 16, 2020, the European Court of Justice declared the EU-US Privacy Shield invalid in the “Schrems II” case (C-311/18). As a result, the transfer of personal data via servers that are not operated within the EU is declared unsafe. I have sought alternatives with providers whose servers are operated solely in Germany or the EU. Unfortunately, it has turned out that a technically problem-free and trouble-free connection of my customers with me is currently not possible.

Purpose of processingI use the tool “Zoom” to conduct telephone conferences, online meetings, video conferences and/or webinars (hereinafter: “Online Meetings”).

The data controller for data processing directly related to the conduct of “Online Meetings” is:
Serenity Therapy and Coaching
Alexandra Bauer
Steffanistr. 27
81247 Munich, Germany

hallo@serenity-therapy.com

www.serenity-therapy.com

Note

Insofar as you call up the website of “Zoom”, the provider of “Zoom” is responsible for data processing. However, calling up the website is only necessary for using “Zoom” in order to download the software for using “Zoom”.

You can also use “Zoom” if you enter the respective meeting ID and, if applicable, further access data for the meeting directly in the “Zoom” app.

If you do not want to or cannot use the “Zoom” app, then the basic functions can also be used via a browser version, which you can also find on the “Zoom” website.

What data is processed?
Various types of data are processed when using “Zoom”. The scope of the data also depends on the data you provide before or during participation in an “online meeting”.

The following personal data are subject to processing:
User details.
First name, last name, telephone (optional), e-mail address, password (if “single sign-on” is not used), profile picture (optional), department (optional).

Meeting metadata
Topic, description (optional), attendee IP addresses, device/hardware information.

For recordings (optional).
MP4 file of all video, audio and presentation recordings, M4A file of all audio recordings, text file of online meeting chat.

In case of dial-in with telephone
Information on incoming and outgoing phone number, country name, start and end time. If necessary, further connection data such as the IP address of the device can be stored.

Text, audio and video data
You may have the opportunity to use the chat, question or survey functions in an “online meeting”. To this extent, the text entries you make are processed in order to display them in the “online meeting” and, if necessary, to log them. To enable the display of video and the playback of audio, the data from the microphone of your terminal device and from any video camera of the terminal device will be processed accordingly for the duration of the meeting. You can turn off or mute the camera or microphone yourself at any time via the “Zoom” applications.

To participate in an “online meeting” or to enter the “meeting room”, you must at least provide information about your name.

Scope of processingI use “Zoom” to conduct “online meetings.” If I want to record “online meetings”, I will transparently communicate this to you in advance and – if necessary – ask for consent. The fact of the recording will also be displayed to you in the “Zoom” app.

If it is necessary for the purposes of logging the results of an online meeting, I will log the chat content. However, this will not usually be the case. In the case of webinars, I may also process questions asked by webinar participants for purposes of recording and following up on webinars.

If you are registered as a user at “Zoom”, then reports of “online meetings” (meeting metadata, telephone dial-in data, questions and answers in webinars, survey function in webinars) may be stored at “Zoom” for up to one month.

Automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 DSGVO is not used.Link to the privacy policy of “Zoom”:

https://zoom.us/de-de/privacy.html

Legal basis of data processing
You will receive a one-time text from me, prior to any contact via “Zoom”, asking for your consent to use “Zoom” and informing you about the risks of using “Zoom”. Only when you confirm that you agree, I will send you an invitation link to the video conference via “Zoom”. The legal basis for data processing is then your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) a) DSGVO in conjunction with Art. 49 (1) a) DSGVO (data transfers to a third country) and Art. 7 DSGVO (conditions for consent).

Recipients | Transfer of data

Personal data processed in connection with participation in “Online Meetings” will generally not be disclosed to third parties unless it is specifically intended for disclosure. Please note that the content of “online meetings”, as well as personal meetings, is often used to communicate information with customers, interested parties or third parties and is therefore intended to be passed on.

Other recipients: The provider of “Zoom” necessarily receives knowledge of the above-mentioned data, insofar as this is provided for in the context of our order processing agreement with “Zoom”.

Data processing outside the European Union

“Zoom” is a service provided by a provider from the USA. A processing of personal data therefore also takes place in a third country. I have concluded an order processing agreement with the provider of “Zoom” that complies with the requirements of Art. 28 DSGVO. An adequate level of data protection is guaranteed by the conclusion of the so-called EU standard contractual clauses.

As supplementary protection measures, I have furthermore set up my Zoom configuration in such a way that only data centers in the EU, the EEA or secure third countries such as Canada or Japan are used to conduct “online meetings”. However, I cannot exclude that routing of data is done via internet servers that are located outside the EU. This may be the case in particular if participants in “online meetings” are located in a third country. However, the data is encrypted during transport over the Internet and thus protected against unauthorized access by third parties.

In order to be able to offer the webinar and meeting services technically and, above all, to provide support for participants, Zoom also processes so-called “operation data” in the USA. For an overview of what types of data are included in the “Operation Data”, please refer to the privacy policy of “Zoom”.

In the case of statutory retention obligations, deletion will only be considered after expiry of the respective retention obligation.
