How psychotherapy works
“I offer you a protected and unbiassed space in which trust and security form the basis.”
You will approach more profound topics in a therapy than in a coaching process. In therapy we go back to the past, work with your inner child and resolve profound blockages.
I offer you appreciation and the opportunity to reflect yourself very strongly within a psychotherapy process.
How I accompany you during psychotherapy
Psychotherapy can help for a variety of topics.
But above all, clients who come to me, suffer from following circumstances:
Physical Symptoms
Do you suffer from insomnia?
Do you feel joyless and sad (longterm, like nothing could help you out of the dark clouds?)
Do you fell stressed, burnt out or/and empty or numb?
I stand by your side to take your symptoms serious. Psychotherapy can help to track down the cause of physical symptoms.
Conflicts
Do you often end up in similar conflict situations and often have difficulty coping with the same issues?
Do you often feel unheard or misunderstood?
Psychotherapy can clarify and resolve conflicts.
Separations and losses
Is it still hard for you to let go of the past?
Are you still stuck to something, even though you know that you are not feeling well that way?
In a psychotherapy you will find space for your grief and learn to express your feelings.
Enjoy the difference
Why Serenity Psychotherapy & Life Coaching is special
-
Life Experience
I know what it feels like to be accompanied by a great sadness for a long time.
In my early childhood I spent already a lot of time in hospitals as well as funerals and dealt with emotional abuse.
In my life I had to grow up very early. Through psychotherapy in a young age as well as coaching experience and my well-founded, very intense education, I have changed my perspective on life. Today I know how to use my empathy for myself and others.
-
My approach
I basically work with different approaches and combine them in order to accompany my clients as individually and sustainably as possible. These approaches include:
- Psychotherapy based on depth psychology according to Carl Rogers
- Gestalt therapy according to Fritz Perls
- Inner child work after transactional analysis
- Appreciative Communication according to Marshall B. Rosenberg
- Different coaching and mindfulness approaches (such as integral coaching, mindfulness empowerment, mental training, etc.)
-
My attitude as an therapist
My appreciative compassionate and calm nature creates a trusting basis for a psychotherapy setting with you.
I am an empathetic and intelligent companion at your side. I empower you to take your individual time frame and feel deeply into your emotional world. Processing my own past offers you an understanding of your inner world but also a lot of support to address profound blockages.
